  • Attraction by Penny Reid ($.99) – I finished reading this book late last night and LOVED IT!! I’ve started and put down 5 books before this one because they just weren’t grabbing my attention and I wanted to focus on finding a book that just had that *oomph* factor you know? Well, this book is it!! I’m totally hooked on Penny’s smart, sassy kind of writing and can’t wait to read the next book in this series
  • The Traveling Woman by Jane Harvey Berrick – the highly anticipated conclusion to The Traveling Man ($.99). I read this one early and really enjoyed it! It delivered a great ending to this unique carnival-themed romance and wonderful couple (here’s my review).
  • When I’m Gone by Abbi Glines – I know a lot of y’all have been waiting for this one!
  • Silver Bastard by Joanna Wylde – new one for y’all biker babes! I got to read this one early too and while I had trouble getting into it in the beginning I ended up liking it. You really can’t go wrong with one of Joanna’s books (here’s my review).
  • Tool by Sabrina Paige ($.99) – stepbrother romance!
  • Predestined Hearts by Kelly Elliot & Kristin Mayer – this sounds really good! The authors note that this is a dual genre book containing both historical and contemporary romance (fresh idea!). The heroine’s aunt dies and while sorting through her things, stumbles upon her great great great grandmother’s journal. “Two love stories intertwine with each other as [the heroine] reads the beautiful words, written over a hundred years ago…”
  • Rattle Me by Ryan Michele ($.99)
  • The Queen of Bright & Shiny Things by Ann Aguirre
  • The Good Girls by Teresa Mummert
  • Contrite by Kathy Coopmans – I’m also intrigued by this book too! “Clove Calloway knows within an hour of picking up her husband Turner from the airport that something is different, yet she can’t pinpoint what…What could have happened within the week he was gone? One way or another, she’s going to find out…she sets about preparing for the worst, only to find it’s much more than she could have imagined…Clove’s life is about to descend into a web of deceit, lies, and betrayal. Appearances can be deceiving…and only the Master Manipulator will be left standing.”
  • Come to Me Recklessly by AL Jackson
  • Homefront by Jessica Scott – I LOVE the sound of this book!! It’s a second chance military romance (I’m seriously a sucker for these kind of storylines).
  • Exposed by S.R. Grey ($.99)
  • Still the One by Jill Shalvis
  • Wait for Morning by Nicole Edwards – romantic suspense!
  • The Enticement by Tara Sue Me
  • Black Number Four by Kandi Steiner – romance between 2 poker players! “Two secrets. Two hearts. Two hands being played in one twisted game of deceit. When the cards are on the table, will anyone be left standing? The perfect poker face can only hide them for so long.”
  • Carter by RJ Lewis ($.99) – This is book 1 in a 2-book duet following the romance between a rockstar on the rise and the girl who’s always been in love with him from the start. “His voice swept me off my feet. He sang like an angel, making me forget for a little while that my unrequited love would destroy me…”
  • Without Me by Chelle Bliss
  • Thrust by Victoria Ashley ($.99) – sounds really hot and erotic!

  • Dark Instincts by Suzanne Wright
  • Say My Name by J Kenner
  • Below the Belt by Jeanette Murray
  • Blush by Cherry Adair – I LOVE the sound of this book!! It’s an erotic romance about a sexy billionaire who’s on the run—and the hit-man-turned-handyman who’s supposed to kill her (yay for female billionaires!).
  • Clash by Sawyer Bennett ($.99)
  • Full Contact by Sarah Castille – fighter romance!
  • For the Love of Raindrops by Beth Michele – this sounds really good! It’s a friends to lovers romance that spans both YA and NA genres. “I fell in love with her when I was just a boy. And then I never fell out of love. I just fell deeper…She is everything. And I have nothing to offer her. Except my heart.” <– Aww!
  • Seth & Greyson by Jessica Sorensen – M/M romance!
  • Fuel the Fire by Krista & Becca Ritchie
  • What If Anthology
  • City of Bones by Cassandara Clare ($2.99) – $5 price drop!! This book and the rest of the series is seriously one of my top 5 favorite series of all time and now’s the perfect time to get started on them. Best 3 bucks you’re going to spend!
  • Lock & Key by Cat Porter ($.99) – biker romance!! “I was allegedly South Dakota’s most famous Old Lady. Sixteen years ago I had survived my Old Man’s murder. Never again. Never again will I surrender my heart. Never again will I sacrifice to the Club. But that all changed in one night. I came home and crashed into him, and my past and present blew up in my face. Both of us lonely, running on empty, and unwilling to admit it…Now I feel things I’d forgotten about, want things I’d cut out of my insides. Love not only stings when you lose it, when it’s ripped away, When it first sinks its teeth into you, it can cut just as raw and sting just as deep. I’d forgotten that.”
  • The Traveling Man by Jane Harvey Berrick ($.99) – unique friends to lovers romance set against a carnival-themed backdrop! Book 2 just released too (see above section).
  • Unbreakable by Emma Scott ($.99) – I’m interested in this one! The hero and heroine meet and bond together while they’re being held as hostages in a bank!!!
  • Degradation (#1), Separation (#2), Reparation (#3), and Completion (#3.5) by Stylo Fantome are all $.99 each! These are kinky erotic romances and is a complete series!
  • Naked by Raine Miller ($2.99) – $5 price drop for this billionaire romance!
  • Waiting on the Sidelines by Ginger Scott ($.99) – YA romance! The heroine is a tomboy with a humble upbringing and the hero is the son of a football legend carrying so much pressure on his shoulders. The book description says the story “explores young love to its fullest, exposing how real young heartbreak and passion is and how important it is to discover yourself and hold onto your own identity.”
  • Prick by Sabrina Paige ($.99) – popular stepbrother romance!
  • The Unimaginable by Dina Silver ($2) – this was on my TBR the moment I heard about it and now the price dropped to $2! The heroine volunteers to help crew the hero’s boat on a passage across the Indian Ocean and falls in love with him. “But when disaster strikes, [she] must summon her courage as the crew is confronted by unspeakable terrors—and, aboard a boat named for such promise, comes the unimaginable.”
  • The Perfect Game (#1) and The Game Changer (#2) by J. Sterling are $2 each! I read and enjoyed this NA sports romance series, which was big on redemption and second chances.
  • Tyler’s Undoing (#1), Ryley’s Revenge (#2), Paxton’s Promise (#3), and Camden’s Redemption (#4) by LP Dover are all still $.99 each! These are interconnected MMA fighter romances and though each book features a different couple, the plot is continuous throughout so read them in order!
  • The Accidental Assassin by Nichole Chase ($.99) – this sounds fun! The heroine has a very routine lifestyle so when her friend offers her the chance to house-sit while she goes off on her honeymoon she jumps at the chance thinking this may help shake up her life a bit. The hero is an assassin and the last thing he expected to do is to “help [the heroine] find out how she’s ended up on a hit man’s list.”
  • The Note by Teresa Mummert ($.99)
  • Flowers in the Attic by VC Andrews ($1.99) – this one’s a controversial, boundary-pushing read, but it was the kind of unconventional book I enjoyed. If you’re feeling open-minded and want a ‘different’ kind of read, check this out! It’s the first book in her Dollanganger Family series about a family of four (two girls, two boys) who are locked away and kept out of sight “At the top of the stairs there are four secrets hidden. Blond, beautiful, innocent, and struggling to stay alive…”
  • The Singles by Emily Snow ($.99) – 3 of her standalone books in 1 bundle!
  • Yours Tonight by Joya Ryan ($.99) – The first book in the Reign series & an erotic romance. “He will give her everything she’s ever wanted…The only rule? He makes the rules.”
  • Rome by Jay Crownover ($.89) – 89 CENTS!! Weird pricing but I’m not complaining  If you love a reformed bad boy and NA romances, this is a great book (and series) to read.
  • All Lined Up (#1) and All Broke Down (#2) by Cora Carmack got price drops! First one’s $1.99, second one’s $.99 but the important thing is to GET THESE!! They’re pure NA romance gold – sweet with steam, lots of awkward fun, and easy to relate to. I loved them! Here’s my review for book 1 and here’s my review for book 2.
  • Burying Water by KA Tucker ($1.99) – Normally $7.99, this is the first book in her NA romantic suspense series about a girl who has amnesia and the boy next door who knows the truth about her. It’s a standalone!
  • Last Will & Testament by Dahlia Adler ($.99) – one of my favorite NA romances from last year!! The heroine’s parents died in a car accident, leaving her as the guardian of her 2 younger brothers. As a result she has to clean up her act and focus on her grades, leading her straight to the TA hero. It’s a really witty and heartwarming read (here’s my review).
  • Until You Find Me by Amber Hart ($.99) – this sounds really good! The heroine travels to Africa searching for answers about her family’s past and falls in love with one of the hunters in the jungle!!
  • Turtle Bay by Tiffany King ($.99) – sounds like a sweet YA romance! The heroine and her family move to a small town for a new start, except a few bad choices and a party later, she’s slapped with a harsh community service sentence and is paired to work with the hero, a local lifeguard who immediately dislikes her for trashing the environment he loves. But after working together for a while both start to see past their first assumptions about each other…
  • Sweet Home (#1), Sweet Rome (#2), and Sweet Fall (#3) by Tillie Cole are all $.99 each! I read and LOVED book 3 and it was one of my top favorites from last year (here’s my review).
  • Unspeakable Truths by Alice Montalvo-Tribue ($.99) – This one’s a love after loss romance standalone! “Four years ago, my life was everything I wanted it to be: I had everything I wanted, everything I needed, in my best friend and newly wedded husband—Tyler. Yet, hours after we said “I do,” I lost him…And now, four years later, my life still feels like a hopeless eternity. I guess it’s quite fitting that the last person I want to hear from is currently standing at my front door. He wants to tell me the truth about that night, he wants to be my new knight in shining armor, but the thing is…He was the best man…”
  • Searching for Someday (#1) and Searching for Perfect (#2) by Jennifer Probst are both $1.99 each! These are romantic comedy standalones that revolve around a matchmaking business.
  • Bait by M. Mabie ($.99) – extreme angst alert!
  • Coming Down by Carrie Elks ($.99) – I really enjoyed the 2nd book in this series which was about an already married couple and look forward to reading this first one, which looks like a second chance romance!
  • The Year We Fell Down by Sarina Bowen ($.99) – NA romance standalone! The heroine is a hockey player who got in an accident and instead of starting college as a varsity player, sits in a wheelchair. Right across from her in her dorm, is another handicapped hockey star, and a friendship forms…“They’re just friends, of course, until one night when things fall apart. Or fall together…”
  • Bride in Bloom by JB Hartnett ($.99) – The heroine and hero were once happy together, getting married and ready to live out the rest of their lives as a couple. But both are betrayed by each other in the worst of ways too. This is their second chance romance after the happily-ever-after…
  • The Traveling Woman by Jane Harvey Berrick – new release & the highly anticipated conclusion to Kes & Aimee’s story! I really enjoyed it, and I’m going to miss these characters. Jane Harvey Berrick has written a duet that will capture readers’ hearts for sure (here’s my review).
  • Silver Bastard by Joanna Wylde – new release and one of the few biker romance authors I’ll gladly read anytime! Overall I liked it, though I had a really rough start (here’s my review).
  • The Virgin by Tiffany Reisz – recent release and one of my highly anticipated reads of the year! This series is my #1 favorite of all time and as to be expected it didn’t disappoint. While it’s not my favorite in the series, it’s a book that’s still better than 90% of books I read these days…just to put things into perspective  (here’s my review)
  • Sweet Hope by Tillie Cole – the final book in the Sweet Home series. While I liked it, it wasn’t my favorite book from this author. Just a tad bit too cheesy for me, but it was a solid read and I’m sure fans of this series will find a winner with this one (here’s my review).
  • Fisher’s Light by Tara Sivec – still my latest TOP recommendation!! This second chance military romance brought out all the feels and made me cry. It just really reminded me why I love reading so much and is an epic love story (here’s my review)!
  • Little Peach by Peggy Kern – TOP recommendation!! It’s not a romance of any kind and it’s a realistic fiction read meant to bring awareness about prostitution. I believe everyone needs to read this book (here’s my review).
  • Wild Reckless by Ginger Scott – TOP recommendation!!! I absolutely adored this book and it’s the perfect choice if you’re in the mood for a dark, angsty read. One of my favorite YA romances for sure (here’s my review).

Complete and total escapism and by the time I was done I just had this warm, happy book feeling…(here’s my review) TOP recommendation!!

  • Before Jamaica Lane by Samantha Young <– an oldie from over a year ago but definitely a goodie! This is a TOP recommendation and it was such a FUN, steamy, and feel-good friends to lovers romance! Definitely will be making my favorites list for this year (here’s my review)
  • Until We Fly by Courtney Cole <– TOP recommendation!! Why did I wait so long to read this one?! Either way, I’m glad I finally read it because this NA romance was gripping, it was unputdownable, and I didn’t want it to end when it did. Highly recommend!! (here’s my review)
  • Shug by Jenny Han <– this was a re-read for me, and one of my favorite YA books!! I’m amazed that after seven years since I last read it, it still affects me and makes an impact. 5 stars and a book I’d recommend to everyone – you, your teenage kids, your friends, etc…(here’s my review)
  • The Hooker & the Hermit by LH Cosway & Penny Reid <– TOP recommendation and a 5 star read for me! Such a fun, fresh, and quirky book – you won’t find a more wonderful, full-of-heart story to fall in love with (here’s my review)

  • Calling Me Home by Julie Kibler <– TOP recommendation and a 5 star read for me! Just thinking about this book is making my eyes water. I took a chance on this one and I strongly encourage you all to do the same (here’s my review)
  • Sweet Fall by Tillie Cole <– a TOP recommendation!! This NA romance is one of the darkest and emotionally heavy stories I’ve read in a long while, but it was exactly what I was in the mood for. It also made me ugly cry and I’m just blown away by the amount of emotion it evoked….if you’re looking for a standalone romance guaranteed to make you FEEL, try this one! (here’s my review)
  • Dear Emily (#1) and Dear Tabitha (#2) by Trudy Stiles <– TOP recommendation! These books are a blend of realistic women’s fiction with romance and made my heart feel so full…I loved both and being able to read them back to back let me carry my emotions from the first book to the second without delay. BEST kind of reading experience!! Here’s my review for book 1 and here’s my review for book 2. Be sure to read these in order!
  • Extinguish (#1) and Reignite (#2) by JM Darhower <– TOP recommendation!! This 2-book paranormal forbidden romance was unputdownable from the get go and I didn’t want the story to end. I mean, the hero is Lucifer, the Devil! That alone made me pick these up  Here’s my review for book 1 and here’s my review for book 2.
  • Amour Amour by Krista & Becca Ritchie <– I really enjoyed this NA romance! This was so unique (setting is in the circus) and the character development was stunning! It truly embodies every aspect of NA and as always, the authors’ writing style is great. Totally recommend (here’s my review)
  • Last Will & Testament by Dahlia Adler <– another favorite! This was such a refreshingly witty NA romance standalone (a little taboo since he’s the heroine’s TA). Totally recommend it (here’s my review)
  • Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn <– TOP recommendation!! This 5 star book rocked my world, 200% unputdownable (here’s my review)
  • Clockwork Angel (#1)Clockwork Prince (#2), and Clockwork Princess (#3) by Cassandra Clare are my ultimate TOP recommendations!! I seriously finished this sensational trilogy and had tears dripping down my face, a pile of tissues discarded on the floor, and food wrappers scattered around me. It was SO emotional, SO intense, SO passionate, and SO good. 6 star series for me!! (here’s my series review) These books must be read in order.
There are a bunch of great books releasing in the next few weeks but the top 2 that are coming out in less than a week and have my full attention are the following:
Distraction by AE Murphy – April 11
Student/teacher romance and my favorite part of the blurb is this: “Forget labels. Forget rules. This is just a journey of two people who fall.” <– LOVE!!
Interim by S. Walden – April 14
High school outcast prepares to initiate a shooting to get back at all the kids who bullied him, but then the one girl he has a crush on finds his journal that has all the details and she’s now a liability!!
I’m always on the search for upcoming releases that interest me and a few days ago I did find one called Once & Again by Elisabeth Barrett that’ll release on July 14! Years ago, the hero and heroine were once an item despite coming from 2 different social circles – she was the debutante from a wealthy family, he was the boy from the wrong side of the tracks. They were forced apart by their families. Now in present day, the heroine’s family is in debt and she’s not a valued member in exclusive clubs anymore; she’s an employee. And the guy who‘s her boss is none other than her old flame  “The last time he saw [the heroine], [the hero] was in the back of a police cruiser, handcuffed and humiliated. But seeing her again stirs other memories: a blanket on the beach, the moon above their heads, and the most expensive bottle of wine he could afford. Now the tables have turned.”
You all know that I recently read and adored Fisher’s Light right (here’s my review)? I’m so happy to announce that Tara will be releasing an extra novella called Worth the Trip on May 4!! Here’s the gorgeous cover and blurb:
“It’s time for me to tell my story.
I know I’m a coward for waiting this long to explain my side of things. I know I should have tried long before now to make amends. There’s nothing like staring right at death’s door to put a fire under your ass. I’m going to die with enough regrets to fill ten notebooks and that’s a tough pill to swallow, but when I meet my maker, I want to be able to hold my head high with the knowledge that at least I confronted all of those regrets.”
I love this author and just yesterday it was announced that Jasinda and her husband Jack Wilder (they often write book collaborations together) signed a 3-book trilogy deal with Berkley Romance (very esteemed traditional publisher) and the first one’s releasing on November 3!!
Preorder Madame X.
A little about the book: it is “a dark, sexy and atmospheric modern-day fairy tale about a mysterious woman drawn to two very different men…”
I’m a big fan of this author and about a month ago I read and loved Becoming Rain, a cleverly written romantic suspense read. KA has revealed the gorgeous cover + blurb to the third book in this series called Chasing River.
“Armed with two years’ worth of savings and the need to experience life outside the bubble of her Oregon small town, twenty-five-year old Amber Welles is prepared for anything. Except dying in Dublin. Had it not been for the bravery of a stranger, she might have. But he takes off before she has the chance to offer her gratitude.

Twenty-four-year-old River Delaney is rattled. No one was supposed to get hurt. But then that American tourist showed up. He couldn’t let her die, but he also couldn’t risk being identified at the scene—so, he ran. Back to his everyday life of running his family’s pub. Only, everyday life is getting more and more complicated, thanks to his brother, Aengus, and his criminal associations. When the American girl tracks River down, he quickly realizes how much he likes her, how wrong she is for him. And how dangerous it is to have her around. Chasing her off would be the smart move.

Maybe it’s because he saved her life, or maybe it’s because he’s completely different from everything she’s left behind, but Amber finds herself chasing after River Delaney. Amber isn’t the kind of girl to chase after anyone.
